How it works
-
Our compact device is designed for at-home use. Simply pick up the breath sampler, exhale into the sampler and click it back into the base station for analysis.
-
Once the sampler is rejoined with the analyzer base station, the device automatically will analyze your breath. This is fully automatic and will take a minute to complete.
-
Upon analyzing the results, the device will provide a brief confirmation the measurement was successful. If anything is amiss, the device will indicate and you can simply re-take the test.
-
Upon confirming measurement success, the device will share the results with your healthcare provider, and notify if anything is amiss. You will only hear if attention is needed from your healthcare provider.
-
The advantage of regular sampling is that the device can improve its prediction accuracy: the more you use it the better results will become, positively impacting your health and time spent.
Gut Health Facts
According to recent research, prevalence of IBS is estimated at 10-11% of global population, food intolerance around 10-60% depending on the type, and SIBO 2-22%, with high undiagnosed rates.
Additional research in 2023 shows that IBS disproportionately impacts females, who are diagnosed 1.5 to 3 times more frequently than males.
By moving gastrointestinal monitoring out of the hospital clinic and into the patient's pocket, health systems achieve a rare win-win: significantly lowering the total cost of care while drastically improving the patient's daily quality of life.
